Background.

$20 Boss is one of Australia’s largest free-to-access, teacher-led, entrepreneurial programs that provides a tangible way of supporting students to build, design, and deliver a business with real money and real consequences.

Originally developed, and delivered, by the Foundation for Young Australians, in consultation with students and educators, the $20 Boss program has seen 180,000 young people from 1,500 schools participate in the program since 2015. 

In 2021, the $20 Boss program joined Young Change Agents’ suite of programs and is just one essential starting point for creating an entrepreneurial education pathway for schools.
